Inside the King-Size Shoshone Master Suite. Why Everyone’s Talking About This Massive Master Bedroom

The Fleetwood Shoshone is a full-size four-bedroom, two-bath manufactured home that hits a rare balance: open layout, big primary suite, flexible options, and Energy Star construction—all wrapped in a design that looks more like a modern rancher than a factory-built home. It’s built by Cavco Fleetwood and available now at The Home Boys in Spokane Valley, WA, with delivery and setup within 100 miles of our Spokane Valley and Pasco locations. We serve WA, ID, OR, MT, and Southeast Alaska.

Exterior and curb appeal
Fleetwood’s Waverly Crest series is known for giving buyers more ways to personalize the exterior, and the Shoshone shows that off. Instead of painted trim, Fleetwood offers cedar-stained trim around windows and columns for a warmer, more residential look. The model on our lot pairs vertical LP Smart Panel siding with upgraded concrete lap siding accents in both painted and stained options. Architectural 30-year shingles are standard, and buyers can upgrade to a metal roof in multiple colors.

Soffits and fascia match the trim package, and the home uses Energy Star low-E, argon-filled windows throughout. Exterior doors include a leaded-glass front entry and a 9-lite rear door off the dining room, each with a matching exterior light. The home includes both front and rear outdoor GFI outlets.

Interior: open concept with tall ceilings
Inside, the Shoshone opens up immediately. The living room, dining room, and kitchen share a wide open floor plan with Fleetwood’s tall-wall package. Standard 59-inch windows bring in strong natural light, and buyers can upgrade to 78-inch tall windows at a reasonable cost. A ceiling fan is standard in the living room, and Fleetwood’s faux barn-wood beams add character.

Kitchen features and options
Fleetwood’s kitchens are highly configurable, and the Shoshone makes the most of it. Options include the acacia hardwood butcher-block island top, soft-close drawers, hardwood shaker cabinets (in white or dark finishes), and a stainless appliance suite from Whirlpool. The microwave includes a built-in air-fry function. The model on the lot showcases a stainless farmhouse sink, pendant island lights, and a tile backsplash that runs behind the stainless hood. Buyers may swap the hood for an over-range microwave or choose a black hardware package for a modern contrast.

Dining area flexibility
The dining space is large and filled with natural light. Depending on preference, buyers can choose a single 9-lite rear door, a slider, or double French doors. The dining table can shift left or right depending on door placement, making the space adaptable for patios, decks, or backyard access.

Primary suite: standout feature of the Shoshone
The Shoshone’s master suite is unusually large for a four-bedroom home. Tall ceilings, decorative beams, and an optional electric fireplace create a true retreat. There’s room for a king bed, chairs, and full furniture without feeling tight.

The primary bath offers dual vanities, a standalone soaking tub, and one of the home’s signature features: a 48-inch by 78-inch resin shower that mimics tile but is easier to clean. It can be equipped with dual showerheads. The bath also includes a water closet and a linen cabinet.

Directly connected to the bath is a deep walk-in closet with natural light from a transom window. From the closet, you step directly into the utility room—creating a circular layout from the bedroom to the bath to the closet to the laundry to the kitchen. This layout is unique in the Waverly Crest lineup and one of the biggest reasons buyers pick the Shoshone.

Utility room and pantry area
The utility room is designed as a working pantry with storage cabinets, washer/dryer hookups, and space for tall shelving. A window is standard, but buyers can choose a door here if planning a garage or side-yard entry.

Guest bedrooms and bath
The Shoshone’s three guest bedrooms sit on the opposite end of the home. All three are nearly identical in size and all include full walk-in closets. Fleetwood includes LED lighting and multiple receptacles on every wall. The guest bath includes a porcelain sink, an oversized fiberglass tub/shower, and a transom window.

Flex room option
The fourth bedroom can be converted into a flex room by removing the closet and wall. This creates a small media space or office. Fleetwood can also add an exterior door here for garage access. The home is 68 feet long standard, but can be stretched up to 76 feet to increase bedroom sizes, the living room, the primary suite, or the dining area.

Energy efficiency
Like all Waverly Crest models, the Shoshone is Energy Star certified: R21 walls, R33 floors, R40 ceilings. Sealed outlets, air-tight construction, and Energy Star windows are standard. The home uses an Ecobee smart thermostat and is heat-pump and AC ready.

How it compares to other four-bedroom homes
The Shoshone sits between several popular models at The Home Boys:

• Giant Sequoia (Golden West) – Similar layout, slightly larger, with separate pantry and utility rooms.
• Weeping Willow (Golden West, Pasco) – Same size, emphasizes a very large walk-in pantry.
• Golden West UDA Prayer (Triple-wide) – Premium 2,654 sq. ft. layout with a circular primary suite and upgraded finishes.
• Palm Harbor and Marlette four-bedroom models – Comparable but vary in pantry, utility, and primary bath layouts.

The Shoshone stands out for its master suite, walk-in closets in every bedroom, and the connected bath-closet-utility loop.
